Sweet Bay is an Irish community that dates back to the early 1800’s. Take Route 230 into the Bonavista Peninsula. Once you pass Lethbridge, the next turn-off is for Sweet Bay.
The road into Sweet Bay is pretty rough, but it’s not very far. When you get there, watch for the little lighthouse. There is also a very tiny post office.
