Barr’d Island is a small island with steep sides in Englee on Canada Bay, across from Canada Harbour. Drive into Englee on Route 433 from Roddickton. When you get into town, cross the bridge over to Englee Island. Follow the road along the harbour, past the shipyard. There is a short causeway over to Barr’d Island.

There’s a parking area and a large wooden staircase to the top of the island. Once you get to the top, there is a circular trail with several lookouts. The total trail is 2 km with 164 stair steps to start with.
