Point Lance is east of Cape St. Mary’s on the southern edge of the Avalon Peninsula. It’s an hour and 10 minutes from Placentia on Route 100. The road into town from Route 100 has been recently re-paved.
Point Lance sits on Lance Cove. It’s a bay with a steady surf and a beautiful sand beach. We watched surfers on a perfect afternoon. It’s a great beach for a walk.
