St. Alban's

St. Alban’s is on Bay d’Espoir, approximately 40 km from open water. St. Alban’s is a large town by Newfoundland standards, with approximately 1,200 people. St. Alban’s is about 2 hours south of Bishop’s Falls.

Take Route 360 (The Bay d’Espoir Highway) south from the Trans Canada. There are no towns or gas stations for the first 130 km. Route 361 is the first major turn-off you come to. Follow Route 361 through Milltown, Head of Bay d’Espoir, St. Veronica’s, St. Joseph’s Cove and Swanger Cove. The highway ends at St. Alban’s.
