Rattling Brook

Rattling Brook is north of King’s Point. Take Highway 390 north from the Trans Canada towards Springdale. Turn left onto Highway 391 and follow it to King’s Point. The name changes to Main Street. Follow the road north out of Kings Point along the shore.

Rattling Brook Falls is on the west side of the road while on the east side there is a small park with additional parking. There is a short trail to a viewing platform. The trail is well maintained with wooden stairs. Along the way there are lookouts that provide great views of the face of the mountain, the falls and Green Bay on Notre Dame Bay. The water flow over the falls depends on the weather and the time of year. A lot of recent rain will add to the visual drama. The views on the way up and from the top are really worth the climb.

If you drive a little further up the road you will come to the community of Rattling Brook. It is a small community nestled between the mountains and Green Bay.
