Cupids is north of Brigus, off Hwy 60. Take Seaforest Dr off Hwy 60 at Cupids Crossing. The drive from St. John’s is about 75 km.

Cupids was the first English settlement in Canada, dating back to 1610. Within a few short years 16 buildings had been constructed. These included a sawmill, a gristmill, a fort and most importantly, a brew house!

Archeological digs are conducted at the Cupids Cove Plantation every summer to learn more about this early settlement.

The Cupids Legacy Centre was built to commemorate the 400 year anniversary of Cupids. It consists of a museum and shop.

Spectacle Head Trail and Burnt Head Trail provide stunning views of the surrounding area.
