Overfall Trail | La Scie

Overfall trail is an easy to walk, linear trail that runs between the cemetery and the baseball diamond on the edge of La Scie. Take Church Street which is one block north of Critch’s Snackbar off Water St. Follow Church Street to the end, there is a school on your right. Turn left onto Cemetery Road and follow it around the edge of the cemetery. You’ll see the arbour that marks the trail head. There is a small parking area.

Approximately half way down the trail you’ll cross a stream on a wooden bridge. Look upstream to see a small waterfalls. Continue along the trail. It follows the stream downhill for a ways. There is at least one other spot where you can get down to the stream to see some pretty spots where the water cascades towards the harbour.

We took the trail all the way to the end at a ball field and then returned to our car by the same route.
