Take Route 235 to King’s Cove and than take the road to Duntara and Keels.

Keels has two big attractions; Clayton’s Chip Truck and the Devil’s Footprints.

As you are driving into town you have to watch for Clayton’s yellow and red chip stand on your left. It’s pretty much in his backyard, don’t worry, you’ll find it. Clayton hand peels hundreds of pounds of potatoes every summer and he makes the best fries we’ve ever had. Clayton told me that he bought the trailer from the same guy that sells hot dogs at Joey’s Lookout in Gambo.

Clayton will direct you to Keels other attraction, the Devil’s Footprints. It’s at the very end of the road. The footprints are a regular pattern of round cavities in the rock. You’ll find the patterns in several rock outcrops at this end of town. Many geologists have traveled to Keels to examine these curiosities.
