Eastport Peninsula

Drive into Eastport on Route 310. Turn right to go to Sandy Cove, Happy Adventure and Salvage. Turn left to visit St. Chad’s, Burnside and St. Brendan’s.

Eastport is the central town on the Eastport Peninsula.

Sandy Cove next to Eastport has a great beach and beautiful Lookout Trail.

Happy Adventure is a pretty harbour right next to Eastport.

Salvage is one of the prettiest towns in Newfoundland, a must visit.

Cemetery Trail in Salvage takes you around Dr’s. Pond to a part of town you can only reach by walking or boat.

The trail to Round Head Lookout gives you a great view of the harbour at Salvage.

St. Chad’s, formerly called Damnable is located between Eastport and Burnside.

Burnside is on the Eastport Peninsula. This is where you catch the ferry to St. Brendan’s.

The St. Brendan’s Ferry is part of the fun going to St. Brendan’s.

St. Brendan’s is a small outport community on Cottel Island.

Harold W. Duffet Shriner’s RV Park is just west of Eastport. It’s a great place to stay when visiting the Eastport Peninsula.
