When driving into Conche on Route 434, before descending the big hill, you’ll see the stairs to the lookout on Sailor Jack’s Hill.
There is a large gravel parking area with orientation signs. The viewing platform let’s you look over an expansive area. On a clear day you can see the Horse Islands off the Baie Verte Peninsula. You can see the two Grey Islands; Bell Island and Groais Island.
You are directly above the communities of Southwest Crouse and Conche.
