Beachside is on Route 392 near Springdale. Take Route 390 from the TCH towards Springdale and than take Route 392 through Little Bay to Beachside.
Beachside is on Notre Dame Bay with views of Little Bay Islands. We were in Beachside in September 2017. The pier had been heavily damaged by ice earlier in the year. Bob’s Newfoundland friends from Beachside tell us that it is being repaired.
When you are in town continue past the pier and up a hill until you get to Backcove Road. Follow this road a short distance and you will be treated to incredible views of Notre Dame Bay. A set of stairs leads you to the Back Cove Beach.
