When you visit King’s Point and Rattling Brook, we’d also recommend a trip to Harry’s Harbour.
Take Route 391 from King’s Point. You’ll pass Jackson’s Cove and Nicky’s Nose Cove. The road ends at Harry’s Harbour. The town is beautifula and local property owners have obviously taken pride in their stages and homes.
The road network in town is a little confusing. We’d recommend that you follow our strategy and drive down every road. One road ends at the start of the Harry’s Harbour Walking Trail, also known as the King’s Cove Trail. There are no boardwalks on this path but it is clearly marked and the terrain is easy to handle. There are beautiful views across Green Bay and the shore line here is very pretty. Part of the trail system takes you to meadowed areas along the shore that mark the location of former settlements, including King’s Cove.
At the end of another road near the church you’ll find a small parking area and a picnic table. From here you can see a sea stack and coastal cliffs.
Also, not far from the church, you’ll find Judy’s ‘lil Blue House, which is featured in the slide show above.
