Leading Tickles is at the very end of the road. About 20 km east of Grand Falls Windsor you will take Hwy 350 north. The road is not bad but you will want to take your time. There are the usual amounts of hills, curves and potholes!
The community is spread along the coast and onto an island that is reached by a causeway. The main community is on the island, encircling a small active harbour.
On the island there is a great community park and campground called Oceanview Park, a museum /craft store on the harbour (Jack Ward Memorial General Store & Heritage Centre) and numerous trails providing stunning views of the surrounding islands and Notre Dame Bay.
