The Iceberg Alley Trail is in St. Anthony on Fishing Point. Enter St. Anthony on Route 430 and drive straight through town. The road ends at the lighthouse on Fishing Point. There is a parking area, where you can enjoy a great view right from your car. The trail starts near the lighthouse, behind the restaurant.
It’s a good trail with boardwalk, stairs and pathways. It’s a linear trail that ties into other trails on Fishing Point. You can walk to the end and return by the road to Fishing Point.
St. Anthony is probably the best place on the Island of Newfoundland to see icebergs. If you go in June, it’s pretty hard not to see one. The trail gives you great views of St. Anthony and St. Anthony Bight (across the harbour). You’ll probably see Northland Discovery Boat Tours blue boat taking tourist out for a closer view of icebergs.
Fishing Point is also a great place to see humpback whales from the shoreline. Make sure you have binoculars and with the help of other tourists, you should be able to spot one. You’ll see whales from mid-June onwards.

We purchased this RV surge protector and it has saved our bacon 🙂 . It’s easy to use and tells you if the power is safe before you plug-in.
