To reach Middle Cove Beach, drive north of st. John’s on NL 30 (Logy Bay Rd.). It is a 12 km drive from downtown.
More often than not, we are not heading to a specific destination. We just like stumbling upon hidden gems. We were driving along the top of a very high embankment when I spotted Middle Cove Beach way down below.
It is a beautiful spot, that is popular with the locals. Campfires on the beach in the evening are a favourite pastime.
