Morrisville

Morrisville is on Bay d’Espoir across from both St. Alban’s and Conne River.

Take the Bay d’Espoir Highway (Route 360) south from the Trans Canada at Bishop’s Falls. It’s 130 km of trees, no towns, no gas stations. Take Route 361 towards St. Alban’s. The first town you’ll come to is Milltown-Head of Bay d’Espoir. There is a ‘Y’ in the road. Milltown is to the left and Head of Bay d’Espoir is to the right.

Follow Route 361-10 through Milltown to Morrisville at the end of the road.

Morrisville is a very quite pretty town. The green wooden house in the slide show above is a treat to see. Ascension Church is also very pretty, nestled against a hillside. Look directly across the water and you see the town of Conne River.
