Joey Smallwood is considered to be Canada’s last living Father of Confederation and he’s from Gambo.

Dover calls itself ‘The Town with a Fault’. Stop by for a visit and see the Dover Fault.

Greenspond is an island joined to Newfoundland by a causeway.

When in Greenspond, be sure to stop in at Ida’s Place for amazing home-made scones.

Newtown is one of the communities grouped together to make New-Wes-Valley. The Barbour Living Heritage Village is in Newtown.

The Cape Island Trail in Cape Freels takes you to a sand beach. This is the area that the book Random Passage was based on.

Lumsden has the widest sand beach that we’ve seen in Newfoundland.
