Toogood Arm

Toogood Arm is at the end of Route 346 on New World Island. It’s just down the road from Pike’s Arm.

Too Good Arm is a common variant of the town’s name, as you are driving into town that’s how it’s shown. It’s believed that the town was originally named Toogood, which is a common English surname.

The town has several traditional stages, wharfs and salt box houses. The community wraps around Toogood Arm which is one of many bays and inlets on New World Island.
