Change Islands | Fogo Island
You take a ferry from Farewell to get to both Change Islands and Fogo Island. In the summer, they run two boats. One goes directly to Fogo and the second boat stops at Change Islands on the way.
Change Islands
The community of Change Islands straddles two islands joined by a causeway. The ferry lands at the south end of the largest island, you drive 12 km north to reach the town.
Island Harbour
Island Harbour is a small community on the west side of Fogo Island, overlooking Change Islands.
Brimstone Head
Climb to the top of Brimstone Head to see one of the four corners of the flat earth.
Shoal Bay
Stop and see Herring Cove Art in Shoal Bay. This beautiful studio is run by Winston and Linda Osmond.
Barr'd Islands
Part of Barr’d Islands is built on three small islands joined by causeways.
Joe Batt's Arm
Joe Batt’s Arm is home to the world famous Fogo Island Inn.
Tilting
Tilting is on the east side of Fogo Island at the end of Route 334.
