Brooklyn is a small community on the Bonavista Peninsula near Lethbridge. Drive through and see a beautiful wooden church and several heritage homes. Click here for more photos of Brooklyn.
Trinity’s Merchant buildings were once some of the most important business operations in Newfoundland.
Old Bonaventure is one of the Trinity Bight communities on Route 239, just around the corner from New Bonaventure.
Joe’s Place in New Bonaventure was the bar used in the movie ‘The Grand Seduction’ in the fictional town of Tickle Head, NL.
You can tour the set of the mini-series Random Passage near New Bonaventure. The set is a replica of a colonial Newfoundland fishing outport. They created the fictional outport of Cape Random. The site was actually the community of White Point prior to the 1960’s.
Champney’s West is one of the Trinity Bight communities. You’ll find The Aquarium, Indian Head and some beautiful stages.

The Matthew Legacy Exhibit is in the town of Bonavista. A replica of John Cabot’s ship ‘The Matthew’ is on display.
Cape Bonavista is where you will find the famous lighthouse, Landfall Park and Dungeon Provincial Park.
Dungeon Provincial Park is off the road that takes you to the Cape Bonavista Lighthouse.
Upper Amherst Cove is home to a great restaurant called the Bonavista Social Club.
Red Cliff is where the famous cricket scene was filmed for the movie ‘The Grand Seduction’.
Tickle Cove is on the same road as Open Hall and Red Cliff. You’ll find an amazing Sea Arch and Molly Tobin’s painted rock quilt.
Summerville is on Route 235. If you are there in the fall, there is a great trail for picking blueberries.
