Harbour Breton in on Newfoundland’s South Coast. Take the 200 km. Bay d’Espoir Highway (Route 360) south from Bishop’s Falls. Along the way you can take Route 361 to St. Alban’s, Route 365 to Conne River, Route 362 to Pool’s Cove or Belleoram, and Route 364 to Hermitage.
The Mi’kmaq Discovery Centre is on your right just after you turn on Route 361 for St. Alban’s.
The first community your reach on Route 361 is Milltown-Head of Bay d’Espoir. Turn left on Route 361-10 and follow to the end and the pretty town of Morrisville.
Route 361 ends at St. Alban’s. The town is on the salt water Bay d’Espoir, 40 km from open water.
Take a 1 km gravel road from Route 364 to visit Furby’s Cove. The town was resettled and has been brought back to life with summer cottages.
The pavement ends at Seal Cove. You can continue on a gravel road for a view of Pass Island.
